Shipping Policy

Unless otherwise specified, orders placed before 2 pm Monday - Friday are posted the same day.  Orders placed after the cut-off times will be posted the next day working.  No orders are packed or posted on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays.  Our lead-times vary throughout the year; please check website for additional information.

Unless otherwise requested, items are shipped using Royal Mail or other courier Standard 2-3 business day untracked service (UK).  International Orders can take several days longer, even within the EU, so please allow up to 10 days for delivery.

For example, if an order is placed at 11 am on Tuesday, it will be dispatched on Tuesday (same day) and will in all likelihood arrive by Thursday or Friday (2-3 business days later).  This is not a guarantee.  Royal Mail offers approximate delivery times, but there are sometimes delays. We do not guarantee delivery dates.

Please note that we cannot instruct Royal Mail on how to deliver your parcel or where to place it in the event that you're not home to accept delivery. Any instructions you have should be placed in a signed and dated note on your front door or other highly visible place.

As Royal Mail 2nd class is not a fully tracked or signed for service, items can be listed as "delivered" even if you are not home to receive them - to prevent them from ending up with a neighbour, shed or other unknown location, please take the simple step of providing delivery instructions to the postie in a visible place.  This goes a long way to prevent loss or delay. 

We are not able to refund lost orders that are marked as "delivered" in the Royal Mail system.

If you do not receive your parcel within 5 business days (10 for international orders) of dispatch, please 1) Check for a "sorry we missed" note; 2) Check with a neighbour and in the shed; 3) Check with your local post office/depot

If you are not home to receive delivery, you may need to check at your local post office or depot. Uncollected parcels are quickly returned to sender.


We cannot offer refunds on personalised items. We are not able to refund our postage & packing costs on orders that have been returned to us after a failed delivery attempt. If a parcel is returned to sender, we can resend it provided shipping is paid for by the customer.

If you do not receive your order within 5 days of the expected delivery date, please let us know immediately so that we can help you locate it.
